About this site
I’ve spent the last ~17 years inside automotive programme delivery across OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers working at the point where engineering, suppliers, timelines and commercial pressure collide.
Most of what the industry calls “issues” aren’t really issues.
They’re outcomes.
Outcomes of signals that existed earlier but were never connected, never interpreted in time, or never acted on with enough clarity.
That’s what this space is about.
Signetra Foresights is where I break down what’s actually happening beneath the surface of automotive development — not just what is reported, but what is forming.
From launch delays and warranty cascades to EV strategy shifts, supplier failures and regulatory pressure, the goal is simple:
To connect signals early enough that decisions can change outcomes.
Some of this comes from first-hand experience.
Some from patterns observed across programmes, suppliers and markets.
And some from stepping back and asking the uncomfortable question —
what is this really telling us?
This isn’t commentary for the sake of commentary.
It’s an attempt to make sense of a system that’s becoming more complex and less forgiving.
If you work in automotive engineering, programme delivery, strategy, or investment you’ll recognise the signals.
The intent is that you start seeing them earlier.
